Amy Schmitz has practiced as a physical therapist assistant since 2010. In 2016 she and her small family moved to Bainbridge Island from Kansas City, Mo. Since joining DaVinci Physical Therapy, she has greatly appreciated spending one-on-one time with patients who have a variety of injuries from post-surgical repairs to chronic pain.

 

Before becoming a PTA, Amy was a copy editor and editor for a variety of Kansas City-area newspapers.

 

When not at the clinic, you can usually find her outside — likely running with a dog or two — in front of her sewing machine, or behind a camera lens.
